SEPTEMBER IN ST IVES

It was an absolute honour to be invited to St Ives Infant and Nursery School to officially open the Butterfly Library! What an inspiring space for children to discover a love of reading. I’m sure the new books will take everyone on many exciting, funny and heartfelt adventures.

And as if that wasn’t brilliant enough, we also kicked off the St Ives September Festival with a story time and craft at Stories by the Sea. We made migration mobiles and pastel artwork inspired by my new story with Jenny Lovlie, ‘Time to Move South for Winter.’ It was wonderful to meet and chat with so many lovely families. We even made the front page of the Penzance Times (It must have been the honking goose – it was quite the crowd puller!) Thanks to everyone for coming!

We also made time to pop into the St Ives Bookseller, to chat with Alice and sign some books. I hope the stories find lovely new homes.

All in all, a fantastic weekend in St Ives!
