It’s always a pleasure sharing my stories with children, and this year’s World Book Week was no exception. It was the busiest year yet, which can only be a good thing, with visits to Minehead, Deptford, Stanwell, Malmesbury and Plymouth …and I loved every minute.
On Saturday, Dot and Duck had their first outing of 2019. Newton Abbot’s Passmore Edwards Centre was packed to the rafters with many polite and well-mannered families… and thank goodness it was!
Ivybridge Library do an incredible job of supporting good reading habits and reading for pleasure, so it was an honour to spend the day with their hardworking team.
We ran workshops for visiting schools, focusing on empathy and understanding other people’s feelings, all based around my newest picture book with Olivier Tallec, How Rude!
