PINCH ME, ITS OFFICIAL!

I’m a biscuit loving, picture book author!

And what better to way to spend the day than with the lovely children and staff of The Erme Primary School dressed as pirate mice!

We celebrated with story-related workshops that included: space themed team building games, creating planets on Kodu, testing which biscuit would be the best to make a boat, designing and making a biscuit book character and making a biscuit rocket… from real biscuits! The only problem was that we were all having too much fun to stop and take photos. I did manage to take a few of our special dessert though. (Thank you, Mrs Issac!)

The day was also a WOW starter for our whole-school project that sees the children creating their own space themed graphic novels Here are the children interviewing each other about their story characters.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, thank you to all the special people in my life for their support and of course, Sophia Touliatou and the Maverick Team!

…and for those of you asking how it feels, I’m grinning from ear to ear.
