Dear story lovers,
I hope this post finds you all safe and well. I am writing with some GOOD NEWS! How Selfish, illustrated by Olivier Tallec, publishes April 21st!

In conjunction with Plymouth Children’s Book Group and Harbour Bookshop, Kingsbridge, we are running a day of free (and virtual) story activities, competitions and prizes. There will even be able a special, pre-recorded duck race that you enter from the comfort (and safety) of your home!
Here’s some more information. You can enter via this Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/137440559664047/posts/3615984808476254/?vh=e&d=n

As some of you know, at the launch of my last book I was in the middle of a course of chemotherapy. At first I thought that the Corona Virus might have scuppered these celebrations, too. But launching a book in these strange times is proving to be lots and lots of fun. It’s pushed me to find new ways to interact with young readers and their families. I can’t wait to share what we have up our sleeves!
If you’re interested in the making of the book, there’ll be a blog tour for adults, too.

Thank you to Plymouth Children’s Book Group, Harbour Bookshop and Quarto Publishing for all their help and support hosting the celebrations.
Hope to see you there!
