THERE’S A GORILLA IN THE BOOKSHOP!

I am delighted to announce the publication of my new book ‘There’s A Gorilla At The Door,’ illustrated by Sam Caldwell and published by Little Tiger Press.

In the story, Daphne is introduced to her animal family who are whacky and very, very different, but perhaps they have more in common than meets the eye.

‘There’s a Gorilla at the Door’ celebrates the interconnectedness of life and will help children share in their similarities and understand each other’s differences. It’s a wildly, riotous story featuring a cast of chaotic party guests.

We had a brilliant time celebrating the release at The Ivybridge Bookshop. Thank you to The Ivybridge Bookshop team for hosting us, and to everyone who came along for stories, craft, dancing and glitter!

In case you missed it, you can catch up on some of the disco dancing here. (Huge apologies to Sam Caldwell, the publishers, my family and everyone who knows me!)

As well as going down a storm in The Ivybridge Bookshop, Gorilla has also been spotted in Topping St Albans, Battersea Books, and in the window of Write Blend in Liverpool, alongside ‘I Love You More’ and ‘Slime!’ Thank you for helping Gorilla to reach new readers and find new homes – it means an awful lot.

The reviews for Daphne and her wild family have been rolling in…

@PNorfolk_BookRe described it as sun, reassuring and destined to be a family favourite!

Thanks for reading this and for finding out about our new book.
